It was just August of last year when I wrote my blog on Artificial General Intelligence. At that time it seemed crazy, at least my family and team thought so. Back then Grok was not even a thing, now we have Grok 4 at the top of the AGI charts and yesterday Musk says Grok 5 has a better than 10% chance of being AGI. He defines that as...
What does that mean for our industry? What if we have software that can do anything a human with a computer can, would you want to "hire" that software? The Juice team has been laser focused on understanding how we can 1st get this new software writing 90% of our code, while also seeing how we can make it available to our clients so that they can resell to their customer base.
We have a group of our team going to the Microsoft Power Platform Community Conference in Vegas at the end of this week. Almost all our clients and the vast majority of our client's customers use Office365 today. Juice has been all in on O365 for years now. We really encourage clients to focus here and not on new ERPs, etc, as the future probably won't have any ERPs like we have today.
We offer to manage your Power BI today at no cost. As we start to do more with the rest of the Power Platform we are starting to roll out processes that require us to manage your Power Platform, you can't sign up for them unless we manage. This is so we have an infrastructure in place to get AGI out to you.
Musk floated the idea that in an AGI future, where it was machine to machine communication, software tools like Office365 would no longer be relevant. Your digital assistant would answer your question and generate a GUI or interface for you in realtime. He suggested this back in Oct 2021. With a fun poke suggesting that his new endeavor "Macrohard" a play on Microsoft, would be bigger.
I have been preaching that the industry needs to automate and integrate for quite a few years now. As software tools get better our small team will be able to do much more than we can today, and we are doing a lot today. The same will be true of our clients, AI won't take jobs from Juice or our clients, but will allow us to do much more.
It is possible that Microsoft's Power Platform is what allows us to get AGI out to clients before AGI makes that platform irrelevant.
Get the Microsoft Power platform in place, have us manage it. Integrate & automate or get left behind.
