HubSpot's In-house Training verses Convergo's HubSpot Office Technology Training

HubSpot has been a new buzzword in the office technology industry for generating leads. But it’s not exactly plug and play. There’s an extensive amount of work that goes into setting HubSpot up and learning how to use it the right way. HubSpot actually requires new customers to go through training and onboarding. You can go through their program (at a cost of $3,000) or a program from a HubSpot Certified Partner. You can’t simply purchase the software… you have to know how to use it.

Why does HubSpot require a paid on-boarding process?

Success. Left to their own devices, it’s easy for new customers to let setup wait until they have time to figure it out. It’s easy to get pulled in so many directions that you never get around to the setup or learning the tool, which results in a large sum of money each month wasted….which leads to the HubSpot license eventually being cancelled. HubSpot requires this training to ensure that the customer is set up to succeed, so training is required. They want you to have the knowledge and training on their sales and marketing platform to get the biggest lead generation impact. And to keep you renewing the annual license year after year.

We’ve been asked at Convergo (formerly Prospect Builder) what’s the difference between your on boarding program and HubSpot’s?

Industry experience.

We’re all from the office technology industry so we speak OEM, MFP, MPS, and so on. We understand how dealers use eAutomate, Sherpa etc. and how you’re capturing supply and service information from your website, which allows us to set up HubSpot to work WITH these systems. We know how to set up forms properly for toner orders, how to route them, and how to set up the experience of it all for dealership’s customers. We work closely with CEO Juice to be able to extract data from eAutomate and create customized email workflows for anything from requesting a Google review to boost SEO to automating an email notification for expiring leases.
